The Story of Mamegumo • 豆雲
Our name, Mamegumo, blends two beautiful Japanese concepts: mame (beans) and gumo (clouds). Together, they capture the essence of our philosophy—grounded craftsmanship supporting boundless imagination and the courageous pursuit of dreams.
My lifelong romance with soy products began in childhood. Initially introduced as a natural remedy for allergies, soy milk quickly transformed from a daily routine into an absolute obsession. Long after my allergies cleared, my love for soy only grew stronger. Even today, whenever I pass by a traditional Tofu shop, I simply cannot resist stopping for a fresh cup of soy milk or a warm bowl of Tofu Fa to satisfy my endless craving for that pure, comforting bean flavor.
However, the path to creating Mamegumo truly revealed itself during my college years. After surviving a life-altering car accident, everything shifted. Facing the sudden fragility of life brought a profound clarity: we only live once, and we must boldly pursue what truly calls to us in the moment. For me, that calling was baking.
Mamegumo was born from that leap of faith. We meticulously craft each tofu-based dessert to be a gentle, comforting pause in your day. More than just a treat, we hope every bite offers you a quiet space to breathe, reflect on your own aspirations, and find the inspiration to chase what you imagine.

我們的品牌名稱 Mamegumo,融合了兩個 日語概念:「mame」(豆)與「gumo」(雲)。
兩者完美體現了我們的經營理念:以紮實的烘培工藝,承載無邊無際的想像力,以及勇敢追夢的決心。
我小時候有嚴重的鼻敏感,那時候母親聽到坊間偏方,進食黃豆可以逐漸解決這個困擾,因此每天都會水煮一大碗黃豆給我吃,慢慢地,我深深著迷於其純淨的營養、細膩的風味以及那份平實的療癒感,後來鼻敏感消失了,但是我對豆製品的喜愛並沒減退,每次經過豆製品店,總是要喝杯豆漿,吃碗豆腐花,滿足一下對豆味的craving。
然而,創立 Mamegumo 的契機則源於大學時期。在經歷一場差點喪命的車禍後,我對生命的看法有了翻天覆地的轉變。面對生命的脆弱,我領悟到人的一生只有一次,必須勇敢跟隨內心,去做心裡想做的事情。而對我而言,那件事就是烘焙。
懷著這份破釜沉舟的信念,我到了不同地方學習及實戰烘培知識,Mamegumo 亦應運而生。我們用心製作每一款以豆腐為元素的甜點,旨在為您的生活帶來一份空間和甜蜜。這不單是一份甜點,我們更希望每一口都能讓您在繁忙中靜心呼吸,反思內心的追求,並獲得力量去實踐腦海中的願景。
